We'll be in touch before launch — God willing. He Knew Exactly What He Was Doing Wrong. He Did It Anyway.
Augustine spent fifteen years living the life he knew was destroying him. He was brilliant enough to write philosophy that shaped Western civilisation and self-aware enough to pray — Lord, make me chaste, but not yet.
In the summer of 386 AD, he heard children singing in a garden in Milan. He picked up a letter of Paul. He opened at random.
"Not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual excess and lust. Rather, put on the Lord Jesus Christ."
Name one habit you keep returning to that you already know isn't serving you. Write it down. Nothing more required today.
The Journalistic Voice
Saint stories told like a great long-read — specific details, real dates, real human struggle. The kind of content that makes you say I didn't know that. Because most Catholics don't. The tradition is richer and stranger than most people realise.
The Liturgical Backbone
The Catholic liturgical calendar gives you 365 days of built-in structure — feast days, seasons, rhythms that have shaped Christian life for two millennia. Sursum Corda makes that calendar visible and navigable. You always know where you are in the year.
The Gentle Friend
Not fire and brimstone. Not guilt. A slightly older Catholic friend who knows the faith, celebrates small wins without sycophancy, and notices when you've gone quiet — without making it a thing. Formation, not performance.

The Sunday Long Read.
Same voice.
More depth.
A weekly email in the same journalistic voice as the app — longer saint profiles, deeper historical context, seasonal essays. The app is the daily discipline. The letter is the Sunday long read.
Carlo Acutis spent his short life doing something nobody had thought to do before him: cataloguing every verified Eucharistic miracle in the world and putting them on the internet. Not for school. Not for an assignment. Because he thought people should know.
He was fifteen years old. He had just been diagnosed with leukaemia. He died three weeks later in Assisi in October 2006. He is being canonised a saint.
His feast day is October 12th. We're saving our best entry for it.
